The Torq/Lite® 1500 Bar System

1500 Bar System is comprised of multiple tools that are light-weight, yet rugged and capable of handling high loads. They are ideal for fast, accurate, reliable bolt tensioning of standard flanges for a variety of applications. Engineered from high length steel alloys for unparalleled safety and tool life, they come in a wide range of sizes that will fit all of the major flange classes and can be easily customized to suit a special application if needed.

Subsea Tooling


Torq/Lite® standard Subsea Tool Range

The standard subsea tool range incorporates a combined body and bridge, lifting eye bolt, 30 mm piston stroke, 1500 bar operating pressure, twin hydraulic connections, a maximum piston stroke indicator and a split reaction nut. Lower-cost solid reaction nuts are also available.

These tools are fitted with composite material high pressure seals which clip into place and require no adjustment. All of these tools are thoroughly tested to ensure safe and reliable performance, and are designed to conform to the European Pressure Equipment Directive; where required, they are also CE marked.

Standard tools are fitted with two self sealing quick connectors. This can be either two nipples or one coupling and one nipple. Customer should specify when ordering.

M36 x 4.0 Blade Bolt Micro-Tensioner, 60mm hex nut rotator, pressure advance, spring return, single port, 21,750 psi (1500 bar) maximum operating pressure, single-stage design, ratchet style tensioner engagement, ratchet style nut rotator, positive stop to prevent overoking, steel construction, minimal outside diameter to fit into close clearance application when blade is installed on the rotor.

Economy Foundation Tensioner

Interchangeable Foundation Stud Tensioner designed for Williams or Dyson wind tower foundation studs. Economy design offers ease of use by utilizing an existing foundation stud hex nut. Includes a common load cell and interchangeable tensioner base. Pressure advance, spring return, single port, 21,750 psi (1500 bar) maximum operating pressure, single stage design, and ratchet style nut rotator. Includes a positive stop to prevent over stroking.
