Product Overview
The Manual Flange Mill (MFM) is a portable, ID-mounted flange facing machine designed for fast, accurate, and cost-effective on-site resurfacing of damaged flange faces. Its lightweight construction and manual operation make it ideal for maintenance work in confined, elevated, or hazardous locations where powered equipment may not be practical.
Using a precision worm-gear drive, the Manual Flange Mill delivers a consistent spiral surface finish while allowing operators to machine flat, raised-face, and grooved flanges with excellent accuracy.
The KRAIS Manual Flange Mill is engineered to restore damaged flange sealing surfaces without removing the flange from the pipeline. Its internal diameter mounting system provides excellent stability during machining, ensuring precise resurfacing and improved flange sealing performance.
The machine features a manually operated worm-gear mechanism that produces a smooth spiral finish while offering excellent control throughout the machining process. A precision spindle provides fine depth adjustment, allowing operators to accurately control the cutting depth for high-quality surface finishes.
Designed for portability and ease of use, the Manual Flange Mill is suitable for field maintenance in refineries, petrochemical plants, power stations, offshore platforms, shipyards, and general industrial facilities.
